Jaycie Wegner

Events & Operations Specialist

With several years of experience in higher education event planning, fundraising, and donor engagement, Jaycie has successfully led the execution of large-scale events, hospitality experiences, and development initiatives. 

Prior to joining the University of Florida, she worked within the University of North Florida Athletics Department, where she managed premier fundraising events, coordinated donor stewardship activities, and helped drive record-breaking fundraising success for student-athlete scholarships and athletic programs. Her background includes overseeing event logistics, budget management, marketing communications, and stakeholder engagement. 

Jaycie earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Management from the University of North Florida. A proud Gator and Jacksonville resident, she is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that build connections and support institutional goals.
