UF Jacksonville: A Bold New Chapter for Graduate Education
UF Jacksonville is an exciting new graduate campus coming to downtown Jacksonville. This campus, which begins at 801 W. Bay Street, is made possible through the generous support of the State of Florida, the City of Jacksonville, and our dedicated donors.
This new campus will be a hub for excellence in graduate and professional education, offering world-class degree programs tailored for working professionals. With a strong focus on business, engineering, health sciences, law, and emerging fields shaped by the digital age, UF Jacksonville is designed to meet the real-world needs of today’s workforce.
Through close collaboration with corporate, nonprofit, and government partners, students will gain hands-on experience in fast-growing industries through both classroom and co-curricular opportunities. These career-focused programs will enhance the region’s existing educational landscape and help build a strong talent pipeline to support innovation in AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
In addition to academic programming, UF Jacksonville will drive research aligned with Jacksonville’s robust infrastructure, complex environmental challenges, and its large and diverse health care workforce.
The campus will be located in Jacksonville’s historic LaVilla neighborhood near the Prime Osborn Convention Center, just west of downtown. The state-of-the-art facilities will begin construction in early 2027, with the inaugural cohorts beginning classes in a newly renovated 801 W. Bay Street. Over the next five years, new buildings and learning spaces will take shape, offering flexible, future-ready environments that support collaboration, networking, and lifelong learning.
We’re excited about what’s ahead and invite you to be part of this journey.
