Jonathan Orsini

Director of Operations

Jonathan Orsini serves as Director of Operations for the University of Florida’s Office for Strategic Initiatives. In this role, he leads operational planning and execution in support of major institutional priorities, advancing the development of academic programs, overseeing academic operations, and evaluating enterprise and program-level outcomes to ensure strategic alignment and organizational effectiveness. His current work focuses on the development of the UF Jacksonville campus, a transformative initiative expanding the university’s academic and research footprint. Previously, Jonathan served as Director of Self-Supporting Programs, where he managed the Office of Distance Learning and supported the implementation and marketing of online self-supporting academic programs. Throughout his career at UF, he has held administrative and academic support roles across several colleges and administrative units, developing broad institutional expertise. A proud “Triple Gator,” Jonathan earned his BS in Psychology, MBA, and Ph.D. in Agricultural Education and Communication with a specialization in Leadership Development.
